China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan is going to release its list prices for March.
Market participants forecasted that CSC might raise its steel plate prices by more than NT$500/ton for March, driven by rising steel plate prices in the international market.
In last December, Chinese steel mills increased the steel plate export prices by US$30/ton to Taiwan. Furthermore, it’s predicted that Taiwan’s import prices of the steel plates may reach US$600/ton in this January.
Affected by these factors, it’s predicted that CSC would raise its steel plate prices by NT$500/ton for March.
