J.W.Ostendorf(JWO),a decorative paint producer in Europe with its headquarters in Coesfeld,Germany,has taken over all corporate shares of the French paint producer Renaulac.With this portfolio-extension the family business consistently continues its internationalisation path.The takeover of Renaulac takes effect retroactive to 1st October 2012.In France,the company with its identically named premium brand is one of the most well-known paint producers within the Do-It-Yourself-and professional business.JWO supplies specialized retailers,DIY stores as well as the industry in 20 European countries.

Through the takeover,JWO gains access to Renaulac customers inside and outside of France.The Renaulac-Group with 125 employees and an annual production capacity of 30 million liters generates an annual turnover of approximately EUR 50 million.

The sale of the traditional company Renaulac,the oldest paint producer in France,was made in the interest of a well-organized succession of the present Chairman and CEO.The present majority shareholder and managing director of Renaulac,Philippe Bonnarme,remains CEO in the company.
