Medical device company US Medical Innovations has completed a distribution contract with, Chesapeake Surgicala US-based sales and distribution company, on 4 December 2013.
Under the new agreement, US Medical Innovations will begin shipping product to Chesapeake Surgical for distribution starting in 2014.
US Medical Innovations CEO Dr Jerome Canady noted the company is pleased to reach this milestone agreement between Chesapeake Surgical and US Medical Innovations.
"This is a practical and compatible match, as we are both aligned and dedicated to providing outstanding support and service to our customers.
"In addition, with their nearly 90 independent sales consultants in our home territory, this collaboration will significantly expand the reach for our flagship device, the Canady Vieira Hybrid Plasma Scalpel," Dr Canady added.
Chesapeake Surgical is an exclusive distributor for DePuy Orthopaedics, a Johnson & Johnson company. The company also provides support to doctors and patients, with a sales consultant present during every surgical procedure.
